Earnse Slipway Solution Day BREAKTHROUGH!
After four days of rock and roll down the slipway we finally got a breathrough tonight. Not with Barrow Borough Council - but with the rocks themselves who were far less imovable.

I turned up for work late today and found the office flooded and folks paddling in it. So I rolled a fag, had a look around, then went back home for lunch. I saw Gary on the way who said that the office floor looked quite reasonable earlier and that I might be able to drive over it.

It's an odd sensation laying on your back next to your mobility scooter heaving rocks out of the way so you can form a path and hearing passers-by asking each other what you're doing. This is the result of my second day attempting to exert my right to access the beach on Earnse Bay.

The only solution to the man-made barrier of rocks preventing me from getting back on the beach in time for the National Kitesurfing Championships next month is to clear the newly created obstacle myself. This is Day 1's attempt and already my back is killing me.
