A public-events calendar for Walney Island and the surrounding area is now available.
The calendar may be viewed by anyone - and features a Radio Free Walney Daily PlayList of 10 Podsaster Tracks taken from the A-Z of Great Pop. Event notices are posted by volunteers on a best-efforts basis only and the possibility of last-minute cancellations means that all uses are advised to validate the information elsewhere before committing to attend any advertised event.
All event notices are archived for historical purposes; and the event calendar itself can be accessed via the Public Events Calendar link in the main menu or from the [CALENEDAR] link which appears at the bottom of every page on the site.
Local Club Secretaries and Event Organisers might like to know that registering for a Friends of Walney Calendar Account makes announcing such events simplicity itself.
